BirchBox September

New month means New Birchbox. This month’s theme is Heros, inspirational women. Birchbox had asked its subscribers earlier this month to come up with ideas for the September box design, and a lovely subscriber Philippa Colliass won . There is a little intro about Philippa, on what is her inspiration, where does she get her inspiration from and who is her hero.
This month’s box comes with 5 products. 1 being a full size, and the remaining 4 being samples. ModelCo Highlighting Trio, Batiste Oomph My Locks XXL Volume Spray, Laura Mercier foundation primer, Nuxe shower oil and Polaar Lapland Cream.
ModelCo Highlighting Trio: This was a surprise product, as Birchbox emailed their subscribers asking if they preferred the Highlighting Trio OR Creme Rouge a 2-1 Lip or Cheeks colour. I wanted to just wait and see what I get as I didn’t want to choose between the two. And I was sent the Highlighting Trio. The three colours in this palette are Champagne, Peache Bellini and Bronze. These are a cream highlight. They blend in really well. I have tried cream highlighters that just sit on the skin and won’t move, which ends up looking like a blotch. These are three gorgeous shades, but Peache Bellini has to be my favourite. Just a beautiful shade, matches my skin tone really well. Even though it is a full size, its comes in a small little palette which is so easy to carry around. Am excited to try this, as I do like the ModelCo products, I had received a lipstick called Kitty by ModelCo in one of my Birchboxes, and loves till. This full-size cost £14.

Batiste Oomph My Locks XXL Volume Spray. I won’t be getting any use of these, as I do not use hair spray. This hair spray helps to create new heights with this instant backcomb spray and give you volume. It has Keratin and Inca Inchi Oil which helps take care of your hair too. It also says it defends against humidity too. This cost £4.29.
Lara Mercier Foundation Primer Blemish-Less. I am excited to try out this product. It’s a water based gel that promises to control shine, hide pores and blemishes and keep your foundation in place. I haven’t tried this product yet. Looking forward to giving it a try. The full size costs £29.
Nuxe Prodigieux Shower Gel: Another product I am really excited to try out. this is a shower oil u use on damp skin like a shower gel and then wash away. It says it has a golden shimmer to it, so don’t know if it is for everyone. But if you love shimmer, then this I guess was made for you. I have not used any of the product as I only got this yesterday. I have checked the products and this shower oil is Unicorns in your shower. Will post a picture of this so you can see how gorgeous this is. Oh my goodness I am jumping with excitement to try this and see what it’s like. I don’t like the smell of it. When i rub this on my skin i do see quite a lot of glitter, not sure if its gets washed away or stay on the skin even after rinsing off. Will need to test this. A shower oil that cleanses and leaves a satin finish. Full size costs £10.
Polaar The Genuine Lapland Cream, a French beauty product. A cream of any part of your body, for dry skin. It is quite thick in consistency, but blends in really well. I am looking forward to seeing how good this is for dry skin, as I have come up with an extremely dry patch on my face, and so far no cream or oil is helping. Fingers crossed this helps. It is alcohol and paraben free. It contains vitamin packed berries. It smells really nice. The skincare products i receive in the BirchBox are my favourites. The full size costs £15.
The last thing I am super excited about is a am exclusive gift we were given from LALABOX worth £12.69. I get to choose 36 pictures to get printed and sent to me in a gift box. I love printing pictures, having a picture to hold and touch is the best. With having pictures on mobiles, tablets, laptops the beauty of having a print has somewhat died. So definitely going to be getting this done and getting some prints. Excited about this, as it even has my blog name in it. Thank You LALALAB.

Overall I really like this month’s BirchBox, looking forward to trying out these new products. Don’t forget you can find me on Facebook, Twitter and Instagram. Come say hi. And if you are new to my blog, I would love it if you could give my blog a follow.

Take care
