Dry and Cracked feet are a complete No No for me. I can accept a pimple on a day out but not dry feet. I have always been very particular about my feet. Making sure they always clean , smooth and well maintained. Very very sadly of late i have let that slip, and haven’t taken care of them as much as i would like to. I blame nobody but myself for this terrible time. I use to use the Heel Genius for a while, which i still do at times. However, since i have neglected my feet i have been having really dry heels, which make my heels look somewhat cracked, but they haven’t got to that stage Thankfully. I have been trying different DIY’s for dry feet, and nothing seems to be doing any good. The DIY’s give temporary treatment, but i am looking for more than that.
So when i came across the Foot Mask at Poundland, i grabbed it at once. I wasn’t going to let this go without giving it a try. This packs says its ‘deep moisturising foot pack with packed with moroccan argan oil extracts, that penetrate deep into the skin to reduce build-up and help repair and soften cracked, split heels’. Why would i not want to try this.
This comes with a pair of socks, which are not your normal cotton socks. It more like a silkyish (don’t punish me,if i haven’t described that correct) material. In the socks,is all the goodness ,the Argan extract. So after you wash and clean your feet, you can use a pumice stone to get rid of any dead skin (i usually do this step) which is optional. Then put on the socks and let it sit on your feet for 20 minutes, or however long u would like to have them on.
When i first tried them, i put on the socks and wore them for 20 minutes like said on the packet, after removing them i realised non of the product actually touched my skin on the heels. No fault of the product, all me to blame. The socks are big in size, so depending on the size of your feet, you would need to wrap the socks around your feet well for it to touch your skin. So what i do now is wrap it around my feet and ankle and then tuck it into my leggings to help it keep snug. I usually wear them longer than 20 minutes, cause i do this when the girls are asleep, so i know i dont need to rush and get back onto my feet for anything.
The argan oil extracts in the socks is really creamy in texture, which i love. Since my feet are freshly washed and cleaned i know this is seeping deep into my skin. After removing the socks, what i usually do with product that is left on my feet, is massage it into my feet. Cause lets be frank all the socks is doing is sitting on your feet like any normal mask. So i give it a good massage and my feet are ready to look normal again. I have used this mask about four to five times now, i can easily say my feet feel so much more softer, much more moisturised, and its lasts much longer than all the DIY’s that i have tried. With the DIY’s i found waking up to dry feet again, since using this mask ,i wake up to well moisturised , baby soft feet. The end results of this mask all depends on how cracked your heels actually are. As you can see in my picture, mine aren’t really cracked, just very dry. I don’t see why this wouldn’t help no matter how bad your feet are. For £1 , your not really losing out on much if it doesn’t work on your feet. I love this feet mask, it has really done me well. There is no hassle of having to make any mask for your feet, when these socks have them all done for you already. Its completely worth it. With this foot mask, no pamper routine of mine is complete without this. Another plus point i have found is that, you get A LOT of product in these socks, so I don’t go by the package that says for one time use, i use one pack twice. Just clip the pack bag with a bobby pink and wrap the socks well,so the product doesn’t dry up. It does have a fragrance to is, which i love.
Have you tried this foot mask? Let me know what you think if you have, and if you haven’t would u give it a try? I think u should.
